Mr Dawid Maartens, B Proc, LLM, and admitted Attorney, Notary & Conveyancer, currently licensed by the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) as a Senior Business Rescue Practitioner has extensive experience in commercial matters and property transfers.

Mr Maartens, a licenced Senior Business Rescue Practitioner, is specialising in Business Law, Company Law and Business Rescue matters. He has been appointed as a Business Rescue Practitioner in various companies throughout South Africa with debt ranging from R10m to R435m. His success rate is more that 70%. He is also acting for various Trustees and Curators in insolvency matters, and his first reported case in the South African Law reports dealing with insolvency law was already in 1983.  He is experienced in insolvent estates, and has previously accepted several appointments as Trustee and Curator. He is also a qualified Notary Public and Conveyancer.  He holds a Master’s Degree in Commercial Law from the University of Pretoria.
